A Magical Night Out in Support of The Gingerbread Centre

Una Health was delighted to attend the fantastic fundraiser ‘An Evening With’, organised in support of The Gingerbread Centre and hosted by Bob Hall at the Valiant Suite at Port Vale FC. 

Charles Hanson and David Harper from BBC Bargain Hunt were the highlight of the evening, delighting the audience with anecdotes from their times as antique experts. 

The memorable evening was brimming with entertainment and laughter, kicked off with a great set from the saxophonist Kevin Goodall, whose music was the perfect start to the evening. While enjoying the delicious 3-course meal, the guests were fascinated by the magician Ed Summer displaying his sleight of hand. Some of us are still trying to figure out his nifty magic tricks! 

A great auction with some surprise items, the Stand-Up Bingo, the raffle and the Golden Ticket with a fantastic prize certainly topped off the entertainment of the evening and helped to raise the much-needed funds in support of local homeless families. The night ended in style with dancing to the music of a local DJ, to the delight of everyone. 

We had a wonderful time and we feel honoured to have taken part in such a great cause.
