EZ Detect™ – Colon Disease Test

EZ Detect™ Colon Disease Test is a 3 step process to identify if there is hidden blood in your stool. It allows for three separate stool samples to be screened, because a single small tool sample FOBT can miss blood due to intermittent bleeding. The EZ Detect samples the entire stool, not just part of it, making it less likely to miss occult blood.

Colorectal Cancer (also called Bowel Cancer) is the fourth most common cancer in the UK and the second biggest cancer killer.¹

In the UK, nearly 43,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year.

More than 9 out of 10 new cases are diagnosed in people over the age of 50.

More than 2,600 new cases are diagnosed each year in people under the age of 50.

1 in 15 men and 1 in 18 women will be diagnosed with bowel cancer during their lifetime.

 

Early detection is the best protection.

In their early stages, colorectal diseases such as cancer, ulcers, haemorrhoids, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures may not show any visible symptoms, even though they may be producing blood hidden in the stool. EZ DETECT can detect this unseen blood and thereby serves as an early warning signal of bowel troubles that need medical attention.
