QuikRead go wrCRP+Hb gives results encompassing both high sensitivity CRP (hsCRP) and standard CRP with a measuring range between 0.5-200 mg/l and for Hb with a measuring range between 50-220g/l from whole blood, serum or plasma samples. Accurate measurement of CRP can be critical in the management of a patient with symptoms of infection. The QuikRead go wrCRP+Hb test helps to identify patients who may benefit from antibiotics and is valuable in monitoring treatment outcomes.
A wide range CRP test allows the extension of CRP values from conventional use to testing e.g. neonatal sepsis, as well as predicting disease severity in COPD patients and aid in cardiovascular risk assessment.
